Business owner Michael Esmond of Gulf Breeze, Florida, donated thousands of dollars to cover the utility bills of 114 families who were late with their payments.
Thanks to his generosity, these families won’t have to worry about having their utilities shut off.
Michael donated more than $7,600 -- and arranged to have holiday cards mailed to the families, letting them know the bill was paid.
He said he was inspired to make the donation because he knows people have been struggling and is grateful that his business has been chugging along during these challenging times. He said he just wanted to share what he had with the people who need it.
