Legendary country artist and beloved sitcom star Reba McEntire will be honored for her “landmark contributions and enduring impact within the media landscape,” The Paley Center for Media announced on Thursday (September 11).

McEntire will be recognized later this year — alongside Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz and award-winning TV producer Bill Lawrence — with The Paley Honors Award at the 2025 Paley Honors Fall Gala, according to an announcement from the nonprofit organization. The annual event is set for Monday, November 10 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

“Ever since I was a little girl watching Annie Oakley on our black and white TV in Oklahoma, I was captivated by the magic of media and entertainment,” McEntire said in a statement on Thursday. “Back then, I could never have imagined seeing myself on that screen. I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had, and it means so much to me to receive this honor from the Paley Center.”

Paley Center President and CEO Maureen J. Reidy noted in a statement, in part: “From concert arenas to Broadway stages to television screens, Reba McEntire’s extraordinary voice, exceptional talent, and endearing personality have captivated legions of fans worldwide.”

McEntire is known for her work in music, TV, film and more throughout her decades-long career. The Country Music Hall of Fame member has collected dozens of awards from the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, the Grammys and more for her iconic country music. McEntire is also known for acting roles, including her beloved early 2000s sitcom, Reba, and her current NBC comedy, Happy’s Place. McEntire spoke with iHeartCountry earlier this year about telling stories with “a great voice of comedy and heart.,” and said she and her cast mates are “a fun family.”
