Old Dominion can “finally introduce you to Barbara.”

The history-making group’s latest studio record, Barbara, made her debut on Friday (August 22). The 13-track album delves into personal stories and deep conversations while maintaining the band’s signature upbeat style. Barbara includes previously-released anthems “Making Good Time,” “Water My Flowers,” “Me Most Nights,” “Late Great Heartbreak” and more. It’s a collection that the band — made up of Matthew RamseyTrevor RosenWhit SellersGeoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi — deems “our most personal record ever.”

“But when we write for Old Dominion, especially this time, we’re bringing more of ourselves into the room,” the reigning Country Music Association Vocal Group of the Year and Academy of Country Music Group of the Year said when they announced the album’s release date. “These are our songs, so they should be pulled from our lives. You don’t realize as you’re writing necessarily, but when we listened to these 13 songs, we all realized: it’s our most personal record ever.

“This is the most united we’ve been as a band, from the writing and recording to how we feel about the final product,” Old Dominion added on Friday. “We are so excited to finally share it with you!”

Barbara follows Meat and Candy (2015), Happy Endings (2017), Old Dominion (2019), Time, Tequila & Therapy (2021) and Memory Lane (2023). The band’s newest addition of music joins a growing list of career-spanning hits, including “Hotel Key,” “One Man Band,” “Coming Home,” “Break Up with Him,” “Snapback,” “Written in the Sand,” “Song for Another Time,” “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart,” “Make It Sweet,” “I Was On a Boat That Day” and many more. Old Dominion is in the midst of their headlining “How Good Is That World Tour” with ERNEST and Redferrin. Find the full Barbara album on iHeartRadio, and listen to a few of the tracks below.
