Atlanta country star Blanco Brown, known for "The Git Up", was in a severe head-on collision weeks ago, his label just released a statement on his recovery!
Brown shot to viral fame last year with "The Git Up" and recently is featured on Parmalee's hit "Just The Way". He was injured badly weeks ago in an accident near his home in Atlanta and has been hospitalized since. The day of the accident he underwent a 12-hour surgery and has remained in ICU.
BBR Music Group, his label, just released a statement saying Brown underwent "another 12-hour surgery" but has since been released from ICU and is recovering well. They went on to say the doctors expect "[he] will make a full recovery".
Among the statement his family also thanked friends and fans saying they, "wish to express that they have been humbled and deeply touched by the outpouring of love from all over the world".
Blanco is an amazing spirit and even stopped in last year to the Bull studio to show us his dance.
His song was so explosive, that our little video even got a mention in the NY Times that year too.
