Mentally, Amy feels like she's doing great. However, hormone wise she cannot control what's happening to her. She admits that out of nowhere she will just be a little psychotic and that turned into something happening with a co-worker.
There's been an ongoing work issue for almost 2 months and it's gotten worse and worse. When she was talking to a co-worker about the situation the other day, she got emotional about it. The person she was talking to is someone she has a comfortable relationship with and it wasn't pointed at her. However, when they were talking Amy yelled at the co-worker asking "whose head do we need to have on a swivel for this?" Amy didn't realize it at the time, but it didn't even make sense. She was instantly remorseful for her actions and has already apologized to the co-worker. However, she hasn't heard back since the apology.
Amy knows why she was worked up because she was really feeling bad for someone else who has been feeling disrespected. However, she knows she can be in pain and still behave with her perimenopause. She was in pain while at work the other day and held it together the whole time. It was just in this moment that she snapped.
