Bailey Zimmerman revealed new details about his debut full-length album as he dropped the highly-anticipated title track on Friday (March 17). Zimmerman started teasing “Religiously” earlier this month, a heartache anthem that reflects on the one that got away:
“I went looking at pictures I didn't wanna see, they brought back memories/ You look happy, I guess, got the life that you wanted but it ain't with me/ You would think by now that I wouldn't care, it's been a couple years and yeah, I've had my share/ Of other broken up hearts but I only shed real tears over ours
“Now I'm in this cold bright light/ And this don't even feel like life/ ‘Cause I don't have the only woman who believed in me/ Religiously/ And now I'm in the back of the church/ Praying just to stop the hurt/ ‘Cause I don't have the only woman who was there for me/ Religiously”
Zimmerman, who is part of the lineup of Morgan Wallen’s headlining world tour, is also known for smash-hit anthems “Rock and A Hard Place,” “Fix’n To Break” and more. He announced on Friday that his album, Religiously, is set to make its debut on May 12: “None of this is possible without all of y’all out there supporting me through thick and thin the last couple years, this one’s for you❤️”
Zimmerman is part of the all-star iHeartCountry Festival lineup on May 13, at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Fans across the country will able to tune in to all of the incredible live performances at this year's iHeartCountry Festival as the event will be broadcast on iHeartRadio country stations nationwide, and on iHeartRadio.com as well as the iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 13th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
