Scotty McCreery kicked off the weekend with six new songs as he debuted his Same Truck deluxe album, expanding on the 12-track project that released last year. That collection included fan-favorites “Damn Strait,” a tribute to legendary King of Country George Strait, and “It Matters To Her,” which recently got a heartwarming new music video featuring McCreery’s wife and the couple’s newborn son.
“We had more songs I loved ready for the original release of Same Truck than we could put on that album,” McCreery announced on Friday (November 18). Now, he’s “pumped” to release six new songs. One of them is “Small Town Story,” which McCreery shared early. The song released last month, telling a sweet tale of young love in a small town.
McCreery announced his deluxe album after sharing a mysterious tweet, wondering whether it’s time to share some new music soon…” he wrote in September. See the deluxe album’s track list here, and listen to a few of the new songs below.
