Would you pay $1,500 to attend a wedding?

Buckle up, everybody, because these screen shots from a Canadian woman named Susan's Facebook status about her cancelled wedding are absolutely bonkers. In an attempt to have an over-the-top destination wedding she couldn't afford, Susan asked her guests to pay up in order to attend her wedding. When this crowdfunding didn't go as planned, things started to fall apart for Susan. She took to Facebook to air her grievances and it truly must be seen to be believed.

The screenshots were shared on Twitter by the account @0lspicykeychain. "If you have a solid 10 mins to absorb this, I present a very real status shared in a wedding shaming group I'm a part of," the tweet explained. Attached to the tweet are multiple screen shots detailing Susan's failed attempts to get her friends and family to pay for her wedding.

“How could we have our wedding that we dreamed of without proper funding? We'd sacrificed so much and only asked each guest for around $1,500. We talked to a few people who even promised us more to make our dream come true," she reportedly wrote on Facebook. "My maid of honor pledged $5,000 along with her planning services. We tearfully thanked and accepted. My ex's family offered to contribute $3,000. So our request for $1,500 for all other guests was not f***ing out of the ordinary. Like, we made it clear. If you couldn't contribute, you weren't invited to our exclusive wedding. It's a once and a lifetime party.”

"We just needed a little push," Susan continued.  "Our dream wedding amounted to $60,000... All we asked was for a little help from our friends and family to make it happen." Susan was (somehow) surprised when she only got 8 RSVPs to her extravagant wedding that required guests to pay an attendance fee. "We were f***ing livid," Susan ranted. "How was this supposed to happen without a little help from our friends. To make matters worse, my ex's family took back their offer. Suddenly, more people backed out, including the...maid of honor. My best friend since childhood. My second family. I was so shocked and tearful."

At one point, Susan even claims her "local psychic" encouraged her to pursue the lavish wedding. You really can't make this stuff up.

The stress of their failed wedding planning resulted in the dissolution of Susan's relationship with her fiancé. "I overheard him talking in the basement when he called me a stuck up b****. Anyway I am exhausted. I am bone tired. My heart is not the same. It's stone cold," she wrote. "I just wanted to be a Kardashian for a day and then live my life like normal."

Susan is now backpacking through South America to deal with her breakup, as well as all the backstabbing and betrayal she believes she suffered. As for how her Facebook friends reacted to her rant? "I have no words," one person commented. "You're out of your mind, Susan."
