According to Entertainment Weekly, Facebook is testing a new feature called "keyword snooze." The feature will be added to your news feed controls, along with "unfollow," and "see first." which already exist.
You can choose to block status updates by keyword for 30 days. If you choose to continue beyond that time, you'll need to reset the feature.
