Ellen Surpises Two Summerville High School Students

This is your feel good story of the day.

Ellen DeGeneres called two Summerville teens from her studio audience, Jaheim and Darius. Both are seniors at Ashley Ridge High School in Summerville. Both want to be teachers and both discussed losing their father's at a young age and the role teachers played in their lives.

Darius has been accepted to College of Charleston and said he would be the first person in his family to go to college. Jaheim was waiting to find out if he was accepted to the same school. Ellen had his acceptance letter and announced it on air. Jaheim is the first person in his family going to college and NOT on a sports scholarship. There is more. Both men will have their tuition covered for all four years of college. Both received checks for $20,000 from Cheerios and their high school received a check for $10,000.

This was part of Ellen's "Acts of Good" campaign. What is a recent "act of good" you were either on the receiving end of or did for someone else?
