Houston, TX -- A surprised traveler on a Texas highway captured video of a car creating a trail of sparks by driving at a high speed with a tire missing.
The video, recorded near downtown Houston on U.S.-59, known as the Southwest Freeway, shows the vehicle creating sparks in its wake by driving with a tire missing.
The footage shows the brake rotor grinding against the pavement.
It was unclear whether the driver was eventually stopped by police.
A traveler on another Houston-area highway, Interstate 45, captured video in early January of a man running through traffic while chasing a tire that came loose from his vehicle.
