Here's Why This April Snow Has A Brownish Tinge...

Wondering why this round of April snow has a brownish, yellowish tint? Me too, so I did some digging.

According to WCCO's director of meteorology Mike Augustyniak (who contacted the National Weather Service office in the Twin Cities for an explanation) some of the snow has likely been tinged by dust, blown up from the south due to high winds. The dust apparently came all the way from west Texas!
