And Luke, who also performed the anthem before Super Bowl 51, must have been the Preds’ good-luck charm because the team bested the Blackhawks 4-1!

Following the Predators’ fourth-consecutive win against the Blackhawks, Music City's team becomes the first eight-seed team in NHL history to sweep in a seven-game series against a one-seed team.

They now move on to round two in the Stanley Cup playoffs to play the winner of the St. Louis-Minnesota series.

Luke, meanwhile, follows in the footsteps of Preds’ team captain Mike Fisher’s wife Carrie Underwood, who sung “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Game 3 earlier this week.
